BOWLING GREEN — Data center dissenters said they felt duped over a discussion about Wood County land use.

Wednesday’s public visioning open house at the former junior fair building was attended by more than 75 people. They were invited to mill around stations with photo boards of housing, transportation, economic development, and parks, and put green stickers on ones they wanted to see more of and red dots on images they did not like.

Most who were approached by The Blade said they were there to hear about the new Meta data center in Middleton Township, and whether there are plans for more data centers in Wood County.
