LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Three people from Southwest Louisiana are facing charges after authorities seized over 85 pounds of methamphetamine from a parked car.

Louisiana State Police arrested the following suspects:

Brent Touchet, 48, of Lake Charles

Jessica Robinson, 45, of Lake Charles

Josh Reeves, 41, of Sulphur

On Dec. 2, LSP and the Calcasieu Parish Anti-Drug Task Force began investigating Touchet, a known drug trafficker in Calcasieu Parish, LSP Trooper Roy Jones said. Investigators saw Touchet, Robinson, and Reeves leaving a Lake Charles hotel together.

Authorities pulled over Reeves for traffic violations and conducted a probable cause search of his vehicle, Jones said. Touchet, Robinson, and Reeves were each arrested on counts of possession of methamphetamine and drug para
