LUBBOCK, Texas (NEWS RELEASE FROM TTU ATHLETICS) - Behind a double-double from Jada Malone and 49 points from the bench, the Texas Tech Lady Raiders remain undefeated with an 83-43 victory over the Wichita State Shockers on Wednesday evening at the United Supermarkets Arena.
Texas Tech (10-0) was led in scoring, rebounds and assists by Malone after she tallied 19, 10 and three, respectively. Malone shot 5-for-7 (.714) from the field and went a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line. Snudda Collins scored 13 in the game against Wichita State (1-8) for her 10th double-figure scoring game of the year.
Bailey Maupin also scored in double-digits with 10 points on 50 percent shooting from the field (4-for-8). She also added a team-best three assists and steals. Jalynn Bristow was the fourth
