Dawson Springs Independent School system students got an unexpected day off from classes Wednesday.
A gas leak was discovered for the second time this week as faculty and staff arrived at the school. On Monday, a gas leak forced the evacuation of the school and classes were canceled Tuesday due to the winter weather in the region which occured Monday night.
Superintendant Lenny Whalen said in a social media post classes were expected to begin at regular time on Thursday.
