More than a dozen sites in Sutton Coldfield’s Green Belt have been identified for thousands of homes - despite building yet to start on a huge strip of land already earmarked for thousands of properties.
Some eight years after Langley, on the edge of Walmley in Sutton Coldfield , was removed from Green Belt protection, Birmingham City Council has listed 15 ‘protected’ more sites in the Royal Town, which could have homes built.
The authority is currently consulting on its next Birmingham Local Plan – the blueprint for development in the city until 2044.
