Police are investigating the deaths of a couple discovered at a property in Torrevieja, a popular holiday destination on Spain's Costa Blanca. The couple was found in a disturbing state, described as "semi-naked" and suffering from severe injuries.
Emergency services were alerted shortly after 10am yesterday by a concerned neighbour. Upon arrival, they found the man with a head injury and the woman with multiple wounds to her chest and limbs. Reports indicate that the woman was still alive when help arrived but tragically succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter.
Initial forensic examinations suggest that the male victim may have died approximately a week prior to the discovery. The couple was located in a property on Avenida Escorpiones, and the circumstances surrounding their deaths remain unclear.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, but as of now, no official statement has been released by the police. The case has raised numerous questions, and further details are awaited as the investigation unfolds.
