Images have emerged of Aryan Sharma, a 20-year-old student, running down a street shortly before he disappeared in Loughborough, Leicestershire. He was last seen in the early hours of November 23, around 12.30am, on the outskirts of the town. Sharma left his accommodation at approximately 9.30pm and was last spotted walking towards Stanford-on-the-Soar. Leicestershire Police are actively seeking information regarding his whereabouts. Detectives have confirmed that Sharma was captured on CCTV on Meadow Lane at 12.30am, heading away from the town centre. They are urging anyone who may have seen him between 12.15am and 2am on Saturday morning to come forward. Detective Inspector Jonathan Dickens stated, “We are piecing together Aryan’s movements from the time he left his student accommodation in the Woodgate area of Loughborough at 9.20pm on Friday night until he was last seen at 12.30am on Meadow Lane.” He added, “Any additional witness sightings, dash camera footage and CCTV are really important to further our enquiries.” The police have deployed extensive resources in the search for Sharma, including trained search officers, drones, police dogs, divers, and volunteers from Leicestershire Search and Rescue. They are also reviewing hours of CCTV footage and phone data to gather vital information. Sharma is described as Asian, approximately 5ft 5ins tall, with a slim build and collar-length black hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a long black trench coat, shorts, and black trainers with a white trim. Authorities are encouraging motorists to check their dashcam footage from the relevant time period. Anyone with information is asked to contact Leicestershire Police on 101, quoting incident 208 of 23 November.
