AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The season of giving is already underway, and starting Thursday, you can help more than 100,000 kids at the Wellstar Children’s Hospital of Georgia.

The 25th annual iHeart Media Cares for Kids Radio and Telethon runs Dec. 4 through Dec. 6.

Every dollar donated stays local to help children in the community, according to hospital officials.

Ashlee Inman, who manages the therapy program at Wellstar Children’s Hospital, said community support makes their work possible.

“Radiothon is such a worthwhile endeavor to also give to. You will never regret being able to help these children that we serve here and being a part of their story just like we are,” Inman said.
