The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs has provided fresh details regarding a possible prohibition on certain types of wood-burning stoves. Earlier this week, it was revealed that regulations governing wood burners might be strengthened to reduce their smoke output as part of the Government's revised environmental strategy.
Any newly purchased stoves would need to be modified once the new rules take effect, though current wood burners would remain unaffected.
