LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office made a major step in what they say is an ongoing investigation involving drug trafficking in Louisville.
Deputies say it’s one of the biggest seizures the department has carried out all year.
“Organizations that sell it, that provide it, that get people hooked...I would say, ‘we’re looking for you,’” said Sergeant Nate Moore with JCSO’s Criminal Interdiction Division.
The seizure, which happened on Wednesday morning, included 108 pounds of marijuana and 2.4 pounds of heroin, officers believe is laced with fentanyl.
