A Scotland super fan has taken World Cup fever to new heights after booking a jaw-dropping 22 hotels priced up to £3000 each across the USA, Mexico and Canada . Daris Nesbit, 24, from Bishopton, has gone to extraordinary lengths to make sure he’s there to cheer on Steve Clarke’s men at next summer’s World Cup. ‌

While most fans are still nervously waiting for tomorrow's group stage draw , Daris has already created an extensive plan to chase Scotland around North America from June 10 to June 24. The IT analyst spoke to the Record about his efforts . ‌

He said: "I have booked 22 hotels on Booking.com. I have covered every venue but I can adjust the dates after the draw is made. All are free cancellation as well and payments aren't required until a later date. ‌
