SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. — "How many deputies does it take to evict a 14-foot gator?"
The answer: seven deputies and one skilled trapper, at least according to one video from the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.
The video shows deputies getting their hands full with a massive, 600-pound alligator found in the middle of a road.
"Pick it up! Pick it up!" one deputy can be heard yelling as they all work to lift the gator.
The trapper and the deputies were able to place the reptile in the back of a truck before releasing it at an alligator farm.
"This massive guest had plans to stay for the holidays, but we had other ideas," the sheriff's office wrote in a statement. "With a wave goodbye, we say, 'See ya later, Alligator!'"
