FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — A 37-year-old man who has been on the run since May after allegedly fatally stabbing another man in a Federal Way apartment complex parking lot has been arrested in Texas.
Oscar V. Rios, 34, was killed on May 3, 2025 at the Cove Apartment Homes. Authorities say they quickly identified the suspect, but had not located him until he was arrested in the Dallas area on November 19, Federal Way police said Wednesday.
Police say the suspect is in custody and will be extradited to Washington. KING 5 does not typically name suspects until they have been formally charged.
Police said the suspect knew the victim and the incident resulted from a dispute between their respective families. After the homicide, police believe the suspect stole the victim's 2018 Gray Honda Pilot b
