VIDALIA, La. (KNOE) - The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested a man accused of sexual abuse of a child.

CPSO arrested Demarius Hawkins on Nov. 26 on two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles and one count of sexual battery of a victim under 13.

According to the sheriff’s office, the investigation started in July after a tip was submitted.

CPSO booked Hawkins into the Concordia Parish Correctional Facility on a $110,000 bond.
