KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Knox County Sheriff’s Office narcotics and SWAT teams charged a man Tuesday after finding drugs, guns and cash inside an apartment near two day cares, according to court documents obtained by WVLT News.

It happened around 6:30 a.m. at 2405 Linden Ave. The documents said both teams responded to an apartment to find Thomas Fletcher, who was taken into custody and charged with maintaining a dwelling for drug use, several possession charges and weapons charges.

Also in the apartment, the documents said, was 799 grams — almost two pounds — of cocaine, 45 grams of fentanyl, around a pound of marijuana and more drugs. The documents also said officers found a handgun and $24,745 in cash.
