New Haven is expanding its governmental leadership team, announcing today that a city asset manager and chief of staff has been hired.
Ivan Almodovar will fill the vacant city asset manager role and also help taken on additional oversight responsibilities as chief of staff.
Almodovar, 47, brings more than 25 years of leadership and operational experience, the city said in a news release today.
He has a background in managing large teams, improving complex systems, overseeing major assets, and guiding organizations through growth and change, the release said. He spent years working in the automotive industry and has a degree in psychology and human relations from Indiana Wesleyan University.
