The community is invited to come and enjoy a beautiful display of hundreds of nativity scenes in a wide range of styles from around the world during the annual Journey to Bethlehem held at First United Methodist Church.

“Come walk with us to Bethlehem and experience the joy, beauty and diversity of this sacred season,” said Susan Lykins, spokesperson for the United Women of Faith, which puts on the event each year at the church.

Now in its 19th year, the popular Christmas season event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 5-6, at First United Methodist Church, 298 W. 3rd St. (3rd Street and 3rd Avenue). Park and enter on the 3rd Avenue side of the church, taking the stairs down to the lower level. A ramp also is available for handicapped access.
