MINDEN, Neb. (NCN) - Minden is spreading holiday cheer this weekend with the return of Christmas on the Prairie at Harold Warp Pioneer Village.
The two-day event blends holiday activities with a celebration of Nebraska’s prairie history.
Saturday, Dec. 6, focuses on family-friendly activities, including holiday crafts, carousel rides, and vintage-style pictures with Santa. Sunday, Dec. 7, features a church music service, live performances, and continued festive experiences.
Pioneer Village Volunteer coordinator Alan Farlin says, “We’ve had this event for the last three years and really enjoy renewing the celebration. We get a lot of different activities going for the kids, and Santa comes, too.”
