A "deeply-loved" North Tyneside mum has died after living with cancer for nine years. Family and friends have paid tribute to the legacy that Sarah Harrison, 44, will leave and they hope to continue her work with the charity Sarah's Star.

Sarah was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016, as reported by ChronicleLive. She was just 35. While the illness was successfully treated, in 2019 she was given the devastating news that not only had it returned, but that it was now incurable, too.

However, the determined North Shields mum used her diagnosis as inspiration to set set up the charity Sarah's Star - which has been devoted to supporting those with terminal illness. Wh
