An Albuquerque man was sentenced this week to more than 10 months in prison for making threats on multiple social media platforms against U.S. President Donald Trump.
Tyler Miles Leveque, 38, who has been held in federal custody since January, was sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Albuquerque on a charge of making threats against the president and successors to the presidency. Leveque posted to the social media website X — formerly known as Twitter — as well as TikTok and Facebook earlier this year, threatening to shoot Trump and others, including high-profile CEO Elon Musk, according to a criminal complaint filed in federal court.
