A band of Democratic lawmakers is strongly criticizing President Donald Trump over his recent attacks against Somali immigrants.

In recent weeks, Trump has repeatedly denounced the Somali community, which has made Minnesota home as the largest population of people from the East African country.

During the tail end of his Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Trump ripped Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) for “what he’s done with Somalia,” before taking jabs at the community.

“I don’t want them in our country,” Trump said, before claiming: “Their country’s no good for a reason. Their country stinks, and we don’t want them in our country. I can say that about other countries, too.”
