Emotions reached fever pitch during the most recent instalment of Celebrity Race Across the World as the famous faces tackled their most gruelling stretch yet.

Throughout the BBC programme, which has previously witnessed one celebrity make a devastating confession, the competing duos were tasked with reaching Medellín, Colombia's second most populous city.

Nevertheless, numerous security risks emerged during their journey, particularly when traversing the perilous Darién Gap, which restricted their movement to daylight hours only.
