One of Russia's highest ranking officials has warned that a war between his country and Europe is "inevitable". Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko has accused Europe of "deliberately" gearing up for a military clash with Russia.

Speaking at the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Foreign Ministerial Council in Austria, Grushko claimed that Europe has labelled Russia a "long-term threat". It comes as politicians continue to scramble to finalise
