BELOIT, Wis. (WMTV) - A nationwide arrest warrant has been issued by the Beloit Police Department for a suspect in a deadly October shooting.
Beloit Police Department said Clifton M. Jones, 42, is accused of second-degree reckless injury with use of a dangerous weapon and felon in possession of a firearm. Those charges were filed in Rock County Circuit Court on November 19.
Beloit officials shared they will work with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to arrest the Madison man.
This update comes after the Special Operations Division reviewed evidence and interviews from the shooting.
On October 2, BPD responded around 3 a.m. to the 1500 block of White Avenue.
