Three women who work at Boston City Hall had their wallets allegedly stolen from their offices during business hours on Monday, according to an incident report filed with the Boston Police Department.
It is believed that a member of the public entered an area open only to office staff and committed the thefts, the report said.
The victims’ coworkers reported seeing an unknown male in the building wearing a brown beanie, dark jacket, sweat pants, and a blue face mask, the police report said.
One of the women told police that between 11 a.m. and noon, her wallet, containing an ID, debit and credit cards, and $100 cash, disappeared from her bag under her desk.
