A Canadian man accused of heading a multi-billion-dollar global drug syndicate has been sentenced to 16 years in prison in Australia after three years of secret, closed court hearings.
Tse Chi Lop, formerly of Toronto, was accused of being one of the world’s biggest drug kingpins and called “Asia’s El Chapo” when a deluge of meth was flowing across the Asia-Pacific region.
