Over 120 survivors, community advocates and law enforcement partners gathered in remembrance Thursday morning for the Suffolk DA’s Homicide Survivors Breakfast.
The 15th annual breakfast, which takes place during Survivors of Homicide Victims Awareness Month, is took place at Florian Hall in Dorchester on Thursday to “honor survivors and to remember the family members and friends they have lost,” the DA’s office said. The emotional ceremony once again brought life to the stories of those who’d died and brought together the community around them, showing those who’d lost a loved one they are not alone.
The event featured an awards ceremony with two honorees. The first was survivor and Boston Arts Academy Foundation president and CEO, Denella Clark, known for her decades of work in Boston
