CANTON, Ohio — While Glenville kept Grady Kinsey and Gnadenhutten Indian Valley from a return to Canton for an OHSAA football state championship, Kinsey is still taking home prestigious hardware.
The Ohio High School Athletic Association announced Thursday that Kinsey is the state’s Mr. Football for the 2025 season. He was selected after a vote through the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association, which picked Kinsey over a pool that included two Northeast Ohio standouts in Glenville senior linebacker Cincere Johnson and Archbishop Hoban junior Brayton Feister.
Kinsey rushed for 2,703 yards and 42 touchdowns on 231 carries for the Braves (13-1), who reached the Division IV state semifinals last week. Their season ended with a 26-21 loss to Glenville, which will play Friday morning for a stat
