HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - The University of Southern Mississippi saw nine football players earn All-Sun Belt Conference honors.

In a Thursday morning release from the Sun Belt Conference office, the league filled three, all-conference teams and also recognized players with honorable mention notice.

The Golden Eagles (7-5, 5-3 Sun Belt) landed three players on the the all-conference first team, including defensive lineman J’Mond Tapp , linebacker Chris Jones and defensive back Josh Moten .

Linebacker Michael Montgomery and defensive back Ian Foster earned third-team selections.
