A crash has occurred on a busy road in Devon this evening as torrential rain continues to cause disruption.

The crash happened near Honiton on the A30.

Both directions of the A30 are partially blocked due to the crash. Traffic is queuing from the A35 (Honiton) to Hedgend Road (Monkton).

A witness at the scene said: "Lots of traffic has come off the road to try to avoid the A30 and many of the smaller roads between Honiton and Monkton are flooded.

"Cars are jamming up the lanes, these roads will be impassable very shortly."
