An Eagle River man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for attempting to coerce a minor and for possessing, receiving, and distributing child pornography. He will also spend the rest of his life on supervised release.
Michael Koetter, 30, pleaded guilty to one count each of attempted coercion and enticement of a minor, receipt and distribution of child pornography, and possession of child pornography. Court documents show Koetter sought to exploit minors in 2023, after previously being convicted of child pornography in Indiana in 2019.
