The Baltimore Police Department, in collaboration with Baltimore City School Police and Maryland Transit Administration Police, has identified a robbery trend targeting young people for their down jackets and Citizen watches, with several arrests made.

Police said in recent weeks, there has been a noticeable increase in robberies targeting young people for their down jackets, including brands like The North Face, Canada Goose and Moose Knuckles. Additionally, suspects are targeting adults and teens wearing Citizen watches.

Investigators said the incidents occurred while victims were commuting to and from school and moving through public spaces. In several cases, suspects have displayed weapons to intimidate victims; however, no injuries have been reported.
