INDIANAPOLIS — Weekend outlook: Snow showers, a clipper system and travel impacts

The sky remains mostly clear for the remainder of our Friday. Temperatures will top out near freezing around central Indiana then fall into the low 20s by midnight.

Clouds will increase overnight as our next weather system approaches. Additional clouds plus winds continuing from the southwest will help elevate temperatures from the low 20s around midnight into the upper 20s by daybreak Saturday morning.

It'll be mainly cloudy by Saturday morning. With a weak boundary stalled out across central Indiana, we could see this trigger a few stray snow showers throughout the afternoon.
