EXCELSIOR SPRINGS, Mo. (KCTV) - The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a historic plaque stolen from an Excelsior Springs park.

Until recently, the plaque was situated on top of the dam in Rocky Hollow Park. It shared details of the Williams Creek Watershed Project, completed in 1970.

On Friday, the department posted on social media, asking anyone with information on the missing relic to step forward.
