VENICE, Fla. ( WWSB ) - A North Port man has been charged with burglary after walking into a woman’s house uninvited, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said.
On Nov. 19, deputies say the man parked his car in the driveway of a home in Venice. He was seen on video wearing blue latex gloves and carrying a backpack, when he opened the front door and entered the home.
The man, identified as Justin M. Cochara, 39, allegedly told the homeowner he thought she “wanted company.” The homeowner told deputies she immediately told Cochara to leave and contacted the sheriff’s office.
Cochara was arrested Dec. 2 by sheriff’s deputies. When he was taken into custody, he was wearing blue latex gloves, the sheriff’s office said.
