MADISON (WKOW) — The Madison Police Department is working to identify a suspect in a sexual assault that happened Thursday on the city's north side.
A woman was walking on Spenser Lane when a vehicle approached her, according to police. A man threatened her with a gun and forced her into a vehicle.
The victim managed to escape near the 2400 block of Brentwood Parkway. A witness heard the woman screaming in the road around 10:15 p.m.
Detectives are working to identify the suspect, described as a Black man aged 30-40 with dreadlocks, wearing shorts and a hooded sweatshirt. He was driving a dark-colored SUV.
