RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - A California based gang member has been arrested after the Reno Police Department says he was found hiding in the freezer of a Reno convenience store.
Detectives with the Human Exploitation and Trafficking Unit had been looking for Shabryon Jones, who was wanted on pandering charges, as well as knowledge of an active parole warrant.
Jones was known to the Regional Gang Unit as a gang member with an extensive criminal history.
Police learned Jones was staying at an apartment on Mae Anne Ave. Jones was located by police on scene, but he fled as police attempted to arrest him.
A temporary lockdown was initiated for nearby Billinghurst Middle School as police searched for Jones.
Jones was ultimately found inside a freezer at the Royal Market Convenience Store on Mae An
