Investigations by Malaysian police into the sudden death of a 30-year-old man continue, a coroner has revealed. Callum Luxton, who is from Whitworth, near Rochdale , died at Kuala Lumpur International Airport while travelling to Phuket, Thailand.
He was found in the airport's Terminal 1 on Saturday November 23 2024. His family was contacted by UK government officials of the Murder and Manslaughter Team who confirmed they were involved in the case.
The team is a dedicated sector within the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office's Consular Directorate which provides support to families bereaved through murder and manslaughter abroad, who confirmed they were involved in the case, LancsLive reports.
Callum's body was later repatriated to the UK and a funeral was held at
