LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A man was arrested in Jennings County on Thursday for suspected child abuse and resisting law enforcement, according to police.

The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office announced in a Facebook post on Friday, Dec. 5, that deputies received reports of a possible child abuse case on Thursday evening.

After meeting with the reporting party, officers obtained video evidence from an indoor home security camera, leading police to head to the suspect’s address in Country Squire Lakes.

Officers were told by the reporting party that the suspect, 38-year-old Joshua Campbell of North Vernon, would likely be leaving for work while police made their way to the home, and were given a description of Campbell’s car.
