Lane Kiffin cancels appearance on ESPN College GameDay amid recruiting hot streak

Lane Kiffin’s planned trip to Atlanta for ESPN’s College GameDay from the SEC Championship is off.

The new LSU head coach announced Friday evening on social media that he would remain in Baton Rouge after securing the No. 1 overall recruit Lamar Brown on the final day of the early signing period.

Kiffin could still appear on the show via remote interview Saturday, but no plans are in the works for that to happen, according to The Advocate's Wilson Alexander. For now, the on set visit has been cancelled.
