Does leaving your phone plugged in all night harm the battery?
This is a query that specialists are tackling and one that plenty of us frequently contemplate.
The professionals at Which? turned to social media to explain what genuinely occurs, and it's encouraging news.
Adam Speight, a Senior Research and Writer at Which? provided reassurance: "No, it's not true. Modern smartphones are just way better than that now. There's some truth to it. It used to be the case."
"Phones used to charge up to 100% and keep on doing it for several hours throughout the night, and that would be in a high-stress state. It could damage your battery.
"Now they're way smarter than that. They'll stay at 80% a lot of the night and sort of top it up right before you get up."
