MARTIN, Tenn. (WSIL) -- Dr. Marshall Priest III, a retired interventional cardiologist originally from Huntingdon, will be the commencement speaker at the University of Tennessee at Martin's fall ceremonies on Saturday, Dec. 13. The events will take place at the Kathleen and Tom Elam Center.
Priest, who resides in Boise, Idaho, graduated from UT Martin in 1965 and later earned degrees from UT Knoxville and the UT Health Science Center in Memphis. He has contributed to the medical field by establishing a cardiology group in Boise and supporting the nursing department at UT Martin through the Priest Family Clinical Excellence Fund and Endowment.
The university recently honored Priest by naming a nursing classroom in Gooch Hall the Priest Family Clinical Excellence Lab. This space was made
