STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Beginning Monday, Dec. 8, the NYC Ferry system will connect Staten Island and Brooklyn.
The Economic Development Corporation — which runs the NYC Ferry — officially announced it would connect the two boroughs by boat in November .
The boats will travel between the existing fast ferry stops in St. George — near the Staten Island University Hospital Community Park — and the American Veterans Memorial Pier at 69th Street in Bay Ridge.
Located near Owl’s Head Park, the American Veterans Memorial Pier is a bit on the outskirts of Bay Ridge.
After departing the ferry, passengers will need to walk under the Belt Parkway overpass and cross Shore Road to reach Bay Ridge Avenue.
From there, passengers can pick up the B9 bus to King’s Plaza or the B64 line that runs to C
