A man's body was discovered on a slip-road of the M4 motorway in south Wales, police have confirmed.
Police received reports of a man in distress on a footbridge near Junction 36 shortly before 9:30pm. Upon officers arrival the body of the 24-year-old was located on the slip road nearby.
South Wales Ambulance Service attended the scene along with police and CSI and unsuccessfully attempted resuscitation on the man.
The man has been identified as a 24-year-old man from Litchard, Bridgend with his family confirming his identity. The family are receiving support, Wales Online reports.
The motorway was closed for several hours as emergency services dealt with the tragic incident.
