Body of 24-year-old man found on M4 slip road View Image

The body of a 24 year old man was discovered on a slip road after police were alerted to reports of a distressed man on a nearby M4 footbridge.

The motorway near Bridgend was shut down on Saturday, December 6 as emergency services rushed to the scene , but attempts to resuscitate the man proved unsuccessful.

South Wales Police received calls about a man in distress on the M4 footbridge near Junction 36 just before 9:30pm on Saturday. Upon their arrival, officers found the body of the 24 year old on a nearby slip road.

The South Wales Ambulance Service, along with police and CSI, attended the scene and attempted to resuscitate the man, but to no avail.
