NEWBURYPORT — Mayor Sean Reardon said he expects to have a new chief of staff within the next couple of months following the resignation of Christian Cyr, who served his final day Nov. 21.

“We actually just had a meeting about it today,” Reardon said Monday. “I anticipate the job being posted before the week is over. Hoping to have someone in place by the end of January.”
