The Youngstown Police Department (YPD) is investigating after a shooting incident occurred on Sunday.

Officers were called out to the area of the East Indianola Avenue and Gibson Street intersection around 2:30 p.m. for reports of gunfire.

Two gunshot wound victims were taken to the hospital, where their condition remains unknown.

Detectives are investigating the incident.
