An illegal immigrant caught with 7.5kg of cannabis inside an Ilkeston house is likely to be deported immediately.
Nottingham Crown Court heard how the authorities already had a deportation notice in place to send Alban Egra back to Albania when he was found at the address.
That was because the 33-year-old had either returned to, or remained in, the UK without permission, having been released from a previous prison term for being the gardener at a cannabis farm which could have netted his bosses almost half a million pounds.
