A man has been arrested after a suspected arson attack saw a fireball ball burst through the window of a Middlesbrough home.
Emergency services were called to Netherfields Crescent on Sunday (December 7) after a blaze broke out around 9.30am.
Dramatic pictures captured the moment flames started pouring from an upstairs window, with black smoke billowing into the sky.
The fire decimated the property, causing full fire and smoke damage, but fortunately, no one was inside at the time, and no injuries were reported.
A 37-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
