The air ambulance landed after a woman was struck by a mobility scooter in a 'hit and run' crash in Lancashire.
Emergency services were called to Victoria Square in Cleveleys, near Blackpool, at 1.30pm this afternoon (December 8). Lancashire Police said there was a collision which left a pensioner in her 80s with a 'really bad foot injury.' The mobility 'made-off' from the area afterwards, the force told Lancs Live.
Pictures showed police and paramedics at the scene on Rossall Road/Brighton Avenue near to the junction with Victoria Road West and Crescent West. The area was cordoned off and an air ambulance landed on a nearby bowling green. View 2 Images
